Yellow Caribaea Heliconia - Each magnificent flower measures approximately 16 inches long and 8 inches across! The 20 ft tall plants came originally from the Caribbean where the enormous leaves were used to cover the food while it's cooking.
Rattle Shaker Ginger - This curious ginger flower actually looks like a rattlesnake's tail, 5-6 inches long, but only about 1/2 inch thick. When dried the plant's seedpods rattle like the snake's tail. |
