1. When do you ship?
We ship Monday-Friday and do local orders 7 days a week. Most orders received by 7:00 am Hawaii Standard Time ship the same day. We still welcome orders after 7:00 am and although we will try our best we can't guarantee your flowers will be shipped out that same day.
2. Do your flowers really come arranged?
Unlike some other companies, our flowers do come arranged, tied together at the stems with foliage separate. When you receive your flowers, simply follow our included care instructions and put them in a vase.
3. How do you clean your flowers?
According to Hawaii State law all mainland bound flowers must be completely insect free. 98% of our flowers are thoroughly hand cleaned in water. With some flowers we use special soap. We never use any chemicals to clean our flowers.
4. Do you sell leis?
We do sell leis, traditional Hawaiian Ti leaf and Orchid leis. If you are interested in placing an order for any type of lei write us at leis@ktropicals.com. All lei orders must be ordered in advance, so it gives us time to make them.

5. Do you ship internationally?
All shipping prices are included in our arrangement prices. We currently ship to the 50 United States and to Canada for an extra charge.
6. What is your privacy policy?
All information you send us will stay at Kalani Tropicals. All names and addresses are used for internal purposes only. We are a small friendly company, we will never sell or "share" your information.
7. When do you pick the flowers for each shipment?
To make your flowers as fresh as possible, we don't cut them until the morning of shipment. We don't have buckets of flowers sitting around waiting to be sold.
8. How long do Hawaiian flowers last?
The longest we have seen our cut flowers last is a little over a month. In our arrangements some flowers do last longer than others. Generally they will last a week or two. Vase life will be determined by the conditions the flowers are displayed in. For instance, if they are displayed in extreme hot, dry, or cold climate it may shorten the vase life.
9. How long have you been in business?
We started off our business in 1997 as a little flower stand and we have developed into one of Hawaii's premier Heliconia florists. We grow and ship a lot of varities that most florist don't have.
